We never share your personal information with any other organization or company. The following privacy policy describes what information is gathered on this website and how it is used.

By visiting this website, you are accepting the policies described in this Privacy Policy. If you provide us your telephone number, we will only contact you with information regarding the donations or registrations you have placed online. We do not conduct any form of phone solicitation.
We do not share your information with any other organizations or companies. Upon your request and direction, we will correct any inaccuracies in your contact information. To do so, please email, call or write us.

The Mountain Institute may use your information:

  • To process and respond to inquiries and for the purposes for which you provided the information, such as to process donations, register or renew you as a member, purchase merchandise, or receive information about a project.

The Mountain Institute attempts to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information. Our servers are protected by reasonable physical and electronic security. When providing your sensitive information online, such as financial information to make a donation, we will redirect you to our Geo Trust secured server.

If you choose to provide your credit card information to The Mountain Institute we will use that information for the purposes for which it was provided.

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. If you are concerned about how your information is being used, please check this page periodically. At any time, you may prevent your information from being used for unanticipated future purposes by e-mailing, calling or writing us.

Children's Guidelines
None of the websites covered by this policy knowingly collect identifiable personal information from children under age 13. If we discover that a person under the age of 13 has provided us with any personally identifiable information, we will delete that information from our systems. We are unable to reply to information requests from children under the age of 13, if so identified. A parent or guardian must initiate any requests for information from children under the age of 13 on their behalf. We encourage parents to supervise children when they browse the internet.

If you are a California resident, you are entitled by law to request an Information Sharing Disclosure. If you provide notice to the address below, we will provide you with a notice of your right to prevent sharing of your personal information as well as a cost-free means of doing so.
