The Mountain Adventures Summer Camp is no ordinary summer camp. As the name suggests, the summer camp is very much an adventure. We aim to challenge and entertain the campers throughout their stay on the upper slopes of Spruce Knob in the Appalachian Mountains.

In The Mountain Adventures Summer Camp, the campers won't be herded from activity to activity, but will be allowed to give input and feedback to the camp. The goal of the summer camp is not only for the enjoyment of the campers, but to also open their eyes to the possibilities of the outdoors and provide a basic education of the outdoors and of the tasks we so often take for granted. We feel that it helps every individual to feel exactly that, individual.

The camp is based out of our Spruce Knob Mountain Center.

This is a co-ed summer camp for ages 12-17.

2012 Dates

Week One - Whitewater rafting on the Cheat River - June 17th- 23rd

Week Two - Overnight canoe trip - June 24th - 30th

Week Three - Rock climbing - July 1st - 7th

Week Four - Mountain biking - July 8th - 14th

Week Five - New Rock Camp (see description at bottom of Day Activities page) - July 15th - 21st
